- You use Claude weekly or daily, but every chat starts from scratch
- You haven't created a Project yet — or made one but didn't customize it
Also do this once — 30 seconds
Tell Claude who you are, everywhere
- Projects only apply inside the project. Quick one-off chats outside a project start from zero — unless you set your personal instructions.
- Go to Settings → General → Instructions for Claude and add two lines, adjusted to your role:
I am a property analyst at Sunrise Communities. Give me direct answers at a professional level — if my reasoning has a flaw, say so plainly.
- Claude then calibrates every answer to your role — right depth, right vocabulary — in every conversation, project or not.
